I don’t think I’ve proclaimed my undying affection for my crock-pot(s) here yet. I use it MULTIPLE times per week to get dinner (or sometimes breakfast) on the table for my family. There is definitely a learning curve I have stumbled through, but now I can’t imagine not having one or two in my kitchen.
If you’re anything like me, the “what are we having for dinner?” question has to be answered before noon, or it just won’t happen. After school, the rush begins to finish homework, have a snack, drive to activities- and even with a cup of coffee in hand, I’m just too tired at that point in the day to worry about dinner. I love being able to have one less thing on my mind throughout the day. Plus, if I’m working that day, I can have dinner ready for my family since I usually beat my husband home.
I’ve come up with some of my favorites that I reach for again and again, and I’m sure you’ll love too! Several of these will be on our menu this week, as well as so many more ideas on my Pinterest page.
